In short

Dates are calculated from the regulation that sets them, not copied from a portal. Every figure carries the date it was verified. Advertising never touches what we publish.

Sourcing

Every date and figure traces to a primary source: the Code of Federal Regulations, the United States Code, the Federal Register, or an agency’s own published schedule. We link the source so you can check it. When a number is a formula rather than an announcement — as the cost-of-living adjustment is — we say so and show what the formula depends on.

We do not source dates from other publishers. If a figure only appears on a blog or an aggregator and nowhere official, we do not publish it.

Calculation over copying

Payment dates are computed from the rules that assign them — for Social Security, the payment day set by birth date in 20 CFR 404.1807, adjusted for the federal holiday schedule at 5 U.S.C. 6103. That is why our dates remain right when a government page is down, redesigned, or a year out of date.

Verification and review dates

Each page shows when it was last verified and when it is next due for review, with the reason. When an underlying figure changes, every page citing it is flagged automatically rather than relying on anyone remembering which pages mentioned what.

Who writes it

Percival Monge, publisher, DG Media Group. Pages are drafted with the help of software that pulls the published figures and builds the calendar, and every page is reviewed by a person before it goes live. Nothing publishes unread.

What we do not do

We do not give individual advice, we do not predict what an agency will decide, and we do not publish a figure before its source exists. When something is not yet announced, we say what is known, what it depends on, and when it is expected.

Advertising and independence

The site is funded by display advertising. Advertisers get no advance look at content, no influence over what is covered, and no ability to remove a page. Ads are labelled as ads and kept visually separate from the text. We take no payment for coverage, and there are no affiliate links in our date and figure pages.
